We will do our best to describe our "Great Loop" adventure herein.

The Great Loop is a 6000+ mile trip that circumnavigates the eastern half of the USA.  You can view the general chart of this route by the "Our Route" button on the navigation bar. We attempted to do this in 2008, but the weather in Jan and Feb beat us, not so much from the cold, but from the constant tornado watches and high winds along the AL/MS border.  We are now going to "have another go at it", and this website will track our progress.  We intend to depart our marina about the 6th of October 2009.

Via the navigation buttons above left, you may have a look at our plans, our boat, and our logbook as it is posted.  It will begin sometime in the first 2 weeks of October 2009 and will likely take us nearly a full year.  We will also post photos of notable sights we see.  We hope you will vicariously travel with us (again in many cases) via this site.
